Gender Masculine
Scripts אוֹמָר (Ancient Hebrew)

Means “speaker” in Hebrew (or “Talkative”, “He Says”) from the verb אמר (amar), to talk.
The only Omar in the Bible is a grandson of Esau and Ada, and a son of Eliphaz (Genesis 36:11). Omar became a leader of Edom (Genesis 36:15), but has no other role in the Bible (also found in 1Cr 1:36).
