Introduction

An-Nisāʾ (النِّسَاء, “The Women”) is the fourth chapter of the Holy Qur’an, comprising 176 verses. Its title reflects the extensive treatment of women, family responsibilities and justice, particularly in verses 34 and 127–130.

This Medinan surah addresses the life of the developing Muslim community. It outlines responsibilities for believers who submit to the Will of GOD, and shows the Qur’an’s role in shaping both personal conduct and communal institutions. It challenges inherited practices through duties toward women, orphans, relatives and those in need.

The protection of orphans and their property is central to its opening passages. Verses 2–4 link guardianship, marriage and financial integrity, confronting the exploitation of orphaned girls through marriage for the sake of their possessions. The wider chapter considers inheritance, family relations, prayer, public trust, conflict, revelation and the responsibility to uphold justice.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

⁦‎Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem‎⁩

⁦‎In the Name of GOD, the Beneficent, the Merciful.‎⁩

Verses 1–10

1	يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhan naasut taqoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum min nafsinw waahidatinw wa khalaqa minhaa zawjahaa wa bas sa minhumaa rijaalan kaseeranw wa nisaaa’aa; wattaqul laahallazee tasaaa ‘aloona bihee wal arhaam; innal laaha kaana ‘alaikum Raqeeba‎⁩	⁦‎O people, keep your duty to your LORD, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind), and spread from these two many men and women. And keep your duty to ALLAH, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship. Surely ALLAH is ever a Watcher over you.‎⁩
2	وَآتُوا الْيَتَامَىٰ أَمْوَالَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُوا الْخَبِيثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ ۖ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَمْوَالِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا	⁦‎Wa aatul yataamaaa amwaalahum wa laa tatabad dalul khabeesa bittaiyibi wa laa ta’kulooo amwaalahum ilaaa amwaalikum; innahoo kaana hooban kabeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And give to the orphans their property, and substitute not worthless (things) for (their) good (ones), and devour not their property (adding) to your own property. This is surely a great sin.‎⁩
3	وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تُقْسِطُوا فِي الْيَتَامَىٰ فَانْكِحُوا مَا طَابَ لَكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۖ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا فَوَاحِدَةً أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَلَّا تَعُولُوا	⁦‎Wa in khiftum allaa tuqsitoo fil yataamaa fankihoo maa taaba lakum minan nisaaa’i masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa’a fa’in khiftum allaa ta’diloo fawaahidatan aw maa malakat aimaanukum; zaalika adnaaa allaa ta’ooloo‎⁩	⁦‎And if you fear that you cannot do justice to orphans, marry such women as seem good to you, two, or three, or four; but if you fear that you will not do justice, then (marry) only one or that which your right hands possess. This is more proper that you may not do injustice.‎⁩
4	وَآتُوا النِّسَاءَ صَدُقَاتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً ۚ فَإِنْ طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ نَفْسًا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيئًا مَرِيئًا	⁦‎Wa aatun nisaaa’a sadu qaatihinna nihlah; fa in tibna lakum ‘an shai’im minhu nafsan fakuloohu hanee’am mareee’aa‎⁩	⁦‎And give women their dowries as a free gift. But if they of themselves be pleased to give you a portion thereof, consume it with enjoyment and pleasure.‎⁩
5	وَلَا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهَاءَ أَمْوَالَكُمُ الَّتِي جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ قِيَامًا وَارْزُقُوهُمْ فِيهَا وَاكْسُوهُمْ وَقُولُوا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَعْرُوفًا	⁦‎Wa laa tu’tus sufahaaa’a amwaalakumul latee ja’alal laahu lakum qiyaamanw-warzuqoohum feehaa waksoohum wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma’roofaa‎⁩	⁦‎And make not over your property, which ALLAH has made a (means of) support for you, to the weak of understanding, and maintain them out of it, and clothe them and give them a good education.‎⁩
6	وَابْتَلُوا الْيَتَامَىٰ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَنْ يَكْبَرُوا ۚ وَمَنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ ۖ وَمَنْ كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا	⁦‎Wabtalul yataamaa hattaaa izaa balaghun nikaaha fa in aanastum minhum rushdan fad fa’ooo ilaihim amwaalahum wa laa ta’ kuloohaaa israafanw wa bidaaran ai yakbaroo; wa man kaana ghaniyyan falyasta’ fif wa man kaana faqeeran fal ya’ kul bilma’roof; fa izaa dafa’tum ilaihim amwaalahum fa ash-hidoo ‘alaihim; wa kafaa billaahi Haseeba‎⁩	⁦‎And test the orphans until they reach the age of marriage. Then if you find in them maturity of intellect, make over to them their property, and consume it not extravagantly and hastily against their growing up. And whoever is rich, let him abstain, and whoever is poor let him consume reasonably. And when you make over to them their property, call witnesses in their presence. And ALLAH is enough as a Reckoner.‎⁩
7	لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَثُرَ ۚ نَصِيبًا مَفْرُوضًا	⁦‎Lirrijaali naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona wa lin nisaaa’i naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona mimmaa qalla minhu aw kasur; naseebam mafroodaa‎⁩	⁦‎For men is a share of what the parents and the near relatives leave, and for women a share of what the parents and the near relatives leave, whether it be little or much — an appointed share.‎⁩
8	وَإِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ أُولُو الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَارْزُقُوهُمْ مِنْهُ وَقُولُوا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَعْرُوفًا	⁦‎Wa izaa hadaral qismata ulul qurbaa walyataamaa walmasaakeenu farzuqoohum minhu wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma’roofaa‎⁩	⁦‎And when relatives and the orphans and the needy are present at the division, give them out of it and speak to them kind words.‎⁩
9	وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِينَ لَوْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً ضِعَافًا خَافُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَلْيَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلْيَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا	⁦‎Walyakhshal lazeena law tarakoo min khalfihim zurriyyatan di’aafan khaafoo ‘alaihim falyattaqul laaha walyaqooloo qawlan sadeedaa‎⁩	⁦‎And let those fear who, should they leave behind them weakly offspring, would fear on their account; so let them observe their duty to ALLAH and let them speak right words.‎⁩
10	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَىٰ ظُلْمًا إِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ نَارًا ۖ وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ سَعِيرًا	⁦‎Innal lazeena ya’kuloona amwaalal yataamaa zulman innamaa ya’kuloona fee butoonihim Naaranw-wa sayaslawna sa’eeraa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who swallow the property of the orphans unjustly, they swallow only fire into their bellies. And they will burn in blazing fire.‎⁩

11	يُوصِيكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي أَوْلَادِكُمْ ۖ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۚ فَإِنْ كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ ۖ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ ۚ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ ۚ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعًا ۚ فَرِيضَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Yooseekumul laahu feee awlaadikum liz zakari mislu hazzil unsayayn; fa in kunna nisaaa’an fawqas nataini falahunna sulusaa maa taraka wa in kaanat waahidatan falahan nisf; wa li abawaihi likulli waahidim minhumas sudusu mimmma taraka in kaana lahoo walad; fa il lam yakul lahoo waladunw wa warisahooo abawaahu fali ummihis sulus; fa in kaana lahoo ikhwatun fali ummihis sudus; mim ba’di wasiyyatiny yoosee bihaaa aw dayn; aabaaa’ukum wa abnaaa’ukum laa tadroona aiyuhum aqrabu lakum naf’aa; fareedatam minallaah; innal laaha kaana ‘Aleeman Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎ALLAH enjoins you concerning your children: for the male is the equal of the portion of two females; but if there be more than two females, two-thirds of what the deceased leaves is theirs; and if there be one, for her is the half. And as for his parents, for each of them is the sixth of what he leaves, if he has a child; but if he has no child and (only) his two parents inherit him, for his mother is the third; but if he has brothers, for his mother is the sixth, after (payment of) a bequest he may have bequeathed or a debt. Your parents and your children, you know not which of them is the nearer to you in benefit. This is an ordinance from ALLAH. ALLAH is surely ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
12	۞ وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ ۚ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ ۚ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ ۚ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ وَإِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلَالَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ ۚ فَإِنْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ ۚ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَىٰ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَارٍّ ۚ وَصِيَّةً مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ	⁦‎Wa lakum nisfu maa taraka azwaajukum il lam yakul lahunna walad; fa in kaana lahunna waladun falakumur rub’u mimmaa tarakna mim ba’di wasiyyatiny yooseena bihaaa aw dayn; wa lahunnar rubu’u mimmaa taraktum il lam yakul lakum walad; fa in kaana lakum waladun falahunnas sumunu mimmaa taraktum; mim ba’di wasiyyatin toosoona bihaaa aw dayn; wa in kaana rajuluny yoorasu kalaalatan awim ra atunw wa lahooo akhun aw ukhtun falikulli waahidim minhumas sudus; fa in kaanooo aksara min zaalika fahum shurakaaa’u fissulus; mim ba’di wasiyyatiny yoosaa bihaaa aw dainin ghaira mudaaarr; wasiyyatam minal laah; wallaahu ‘Aleemun Haleem‎⁩	⁦‎And yours is half of what your wives leave if they have no child; but if they have a child, your share is a fourth of what they leave after (payment of) any bequest they may have bequeathed or a debt; and theirs is the fourth of what you leave if you have no child, but if you have a child, their share is the eighth of what you leave after (payment of) a bequest you may have bequeathed or a debt. And if a man or a woman, having no children, leaves property to be inherited and he (or she) has a brother or a sister, then for each of them is the sixth; but if they are more than that, they shall be sharers in the third after (payment of) a bequest that may have been bequeathed or a debt not injuring (others). This is an ordinance from ALLAH: and ALLAH is Knowing, Forbearing.‎⁩
13	تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ	⁦‎Tilka hudoodul laah; wa mai yuti’il laaha wa Rasoolahoo yudkhilhu Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; wa zaalikal fawzul ‘azeem‎⁩	⁦‎These are ALLAH’s limits. And whoever obeys ALLAH and His Messenger, He will admit him to Gardens wherein flow rivers, to abide in them. And this is the great achievement.‎⁩
14	وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ نَارًا خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَلَهُ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ	⁦‎Wa mai ya’sil laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa yata’adda hudoodahoo yudkhilhu Naaran khaalidan feehaa wa lahoo ‘azaabum muheen‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever disobeys ALLAH and His Messenger and goes beyond His limits, He will make him enter fire to abide in it, and for him is an abasing chastisement.‎⁩
15	وَاللَّاتِي يَأْتِينَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْكُمْ ۖ فَإِنْ شَهِدُوا فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىٰ يَتَوَفَّاهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Wallaatee ya’teenal faahishata min nisaaa’ikum fastash-hidoo ‘alaihinna arba’atam minkum fa in shahidoo fa amsikoohunna fil buyooti hatta yatawaffaa hunnal mawtu aw yaj’alal laahu lahunna sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎And as for those of your women who are guilty of an indecency, call to witness against them four (witnesses) from among you; so if they bear witness, confine them to the houses until death takes them away or ALLAH opens a way for them.‎⁩
16	وَاللَّذَانِ يَأْتِيَانِهَا مِنْكُمْ فَآذُوهُمَا ۖ فَإِنْ تَابَا وَأَصْلَحَا فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wallazaani ya’tiyaanihaa minkum fa aazoohumaa fa in taabaa wa aslahaa fa a’ridoo ‘anhumaaa; innal laaha kaana Tawwaabar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎And as for the two of you who are guilty of it, give them both a slight punishment; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them. Surely ALLAH is ever Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.‎⁩
17	إِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Innamat tawbatu ‘alallaahi lillazeena ya’maloonas sooo’a bijahaalatin summa yatooboona min qareebin fa ulaa’ika yatoobul laahu ‘alaihim; wa kaanal laahu ‘Aleeman Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Repentance with ALLAH is only for those who do evil in ignorance, then turn (to ALLAH) soon, so these it is to whom ALLAH turns (mercifully). And ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
18	وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلَا الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa laisatit tawbatu lillazeena ya’maloonas saiyiaati hattaaa izaa hadara ahadahumul mawtu qaala innee tubtul ‘aana wa lallazeena yamootoona wa hum kuffaar; ulaaa’ika a’tadnaa lahum ‘azaaban aleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And repentance is not for those who go on doing evil deeds, until when death comes to one of them, he says: Now I repent; nor (for) those who die while they are disbelievers. For such We have prepared a painful chastisement.‎⁩
19	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَرِثُوا النِّسَاءَ كَرْهًا ۖ وَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُوا بِبَعْضِ مَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ فَإِنْ كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَىٰ أَنْ تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa yahillu lakum an tarisun nisaaa’a karhan wa laa ta’duloohunna litazhaboo biba’di maaa aataitumoohunna illaaa ai ya’teena bifaahishatim mubaiyinah; wa ‘aashiroo hunna bilma’roof; fa in karihtumoohunna fa’asaaa an takrahoo shai’anw wa yaj’alal laahu feehi khairan kaseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, it is not lawful for you to take women as heritage against (their) will. Nor should you straiten them by taking part of what you have given them, unless they are guilty of manifest indecency. And treat them kindly. Then if you hate them, it may be that you dislike a thing while ALLAH has placed abundant good in it.‎⁩
20	وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَارًا فَلَا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَيْئًا ۚ أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Wa in arattumustib daala zawjim makaana zawjin wa aataitum ihdaahunna qintaaran falaa ta’khuzoo minhu shai’aa; ata’khuzoonahoo buhtaannanw wa ismam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And if you wish to have (one) wife in the place of another and you have given one of them a heap of gold, take nothing from it. Would you take it by slandering (her) and (doing her) manifest wrong?‎⁩

21	وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ أَفْضَىٰ بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا	⁦‎Wa kaifa ta’khuzoonahoo wa qad afdaa ba’dukum ilaa ba’dinw wa akhazna minkum meesaaqan ghaleezaa‎⁩	⁦‎And how can you take it when one of you has already gone in to the other and they have taken from you a strong covenant?‎⁩
22	وَلَا تَنْكِحُوا مَا نَكَحَ آبَاؤُكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَمَقْتًا وَسَاءَ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Wa laa tankihoo maa nakaha aabaaa’ukum minan nisaaa’i illaa maa qad salaf; innahoo kaana faahishatanw wa maqtanw wa saaa’a sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎And marry not women whom your fathers married, except what has already passed. This surely is indecent and hateful; and it is an evil way.‎⁩
23	حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَّهَاتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ وَعَمَّاتُكُمْ وَخَالَاتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُ الْأَخِ وَبَنَاتُ الْأُخْتِ وَأُمَّهَاتُكُمُ اللَّاتِي أَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَأُمَّهَاتُ نِسَائِكُمْ وَرَبَائِبُكُمُ اللَّاتِي فِي حُجُورِكُمْ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمُ اللَّاتِي دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَحَلَائِلُ أَبْنَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلَابِكُمْ وَأَنْ تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ الْأُخْتَيْنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Hurrimat ‘alaikum umma haatukum wa banaatukum wa akhawaatukum wa ‘ammaatukum wa khaalaatukum wa banaatul akhi wa banaatul ukhti wa ummahaatu kumul laateee arda’ nakum wa akhawaatukum minarradaa’ati wa ummahaatu nisaaa’ikum wa rabaaa’i bukumul laatee fee hujoorikum min nisaaa’ikumul laatee dakhaltum bihinna Fa il lam takoonoo dakhaltum bihinna falaa junaaha ‘alaikum wa halaaa’ilu abnaaa’ikumul lazeena min aslaabikum wa an tajma’oo bainal ukhtaini illaa maa qad salaf; innallaaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎Forbidden to you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your paternal aunts, and your maternal aunts, and brother’s daughters and sister’s daughters, and your mothers that have suckled you, and your foster-sisters, and mothers of your wives, and your stepdaughters who are in your guardianship (born) of your wives to whom you have gone in — but if you have not gone in to them, there is no blame on you — and the wives of your sons who are of your own loins; and that you should have two sisters together, except what has already passed. Surely ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
24	۞ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۖ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ مَا وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَنْ تَبْتَغُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ ۚ فَمَا اسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً ۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا تَرَاضَيْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْفَرِيضَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Walmuhsanaatu minan nisaaa’i illaa maa malakat aimaanukum kitaabal laahi ‘alaikum; wa uhilla lakum maa waraaa’a zaalikum an tabtaghoo bi’amwaalikum muhsineena ghaira musaa fiheen; famastamta’tum bihee minhunna fa aatoohunna ujoorahunna fareedah; wa laa junaaha ‘alaikum feemaa taraadaitum bihee mim ba’dil fareedah; innal laaha kaana ‘Aleeman Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (are forbidden); (this is) ALLAH’s ordinance to you. And lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage, not committing fornication. Then as to those whom you profit by (by marrying), give them their dowries as appointed. And there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed (of dowry). Surely ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
25	وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلًا أَنْ يَنْكِحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِنْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ مِنْ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِكُمْ ۚ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ ۚ فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ ۚ فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَأَنْ تَصْبِرُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ	⁦‎Wa mal lam yastati’ minkum tawlan ai yankihal muhsanaatil mu’minaati famimmaa malakat aimaanukum min fatayaatikumul mu’minaat; wallaahu a’lamu bi eemaanikum; ba’dukum mim ba’d; fankihoohunna bi izni ahlihinna wa aatoohunna ujoorahunna bilma’roofi muhsanaatin ghaira musaa fihaatinw wa laa muttakhizaati akhdaan; fa izaaa uhsinna fa in ataina bifaahi shatin fa’alaihinnna nisfu maa ‘alal muhsanaati minal ‘azaab; zaalika liman khashiyal ‘anata minkum; wa an tasbiroo khairul lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever among you cannot afford to marry free believing women, (let him marry) such of your believing maidens as your right hands possess. And ALLAH knows best your faith — you are (sprung) the one from the other. So marry them with the permission of their masters, and give them their dowries justly, they being chaste, not fornicating, nor receiving paramours; then if they are guilty of adultery when they are taken in marriage, they shall suffer half the punishment for free married women. This is for him among you who fears falling into evil. And that you abstain is better for you. And ALLAH is Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
26	يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ سُنَنَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَيَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ	⁦‎Yureedul laahu liyubai yina lakum wa yahdiyakum sunanal lazeena min qablikum wa yatooba ‘alaikum; wallaahu ‘Aleemun Hakeem‎⁩	⁦‎ALLAH desires to explain to you, and to guide you into the ways of those before you, and to turn to you (mercifully). And ALLAH is Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
27	وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَنْ تَمِيلُوا مَيْلًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wallaahu yureedu ai yatooba ‘alaikum wa yureedul lazeena yattabi ‘oonash shahawaati an tameeloo mailan ‘azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And ALLAH desires to turn to you (mercifully). And those who follow (their) lusts desire that you should deviate (with) a great deviation.‎⁩
28	يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفَ عَنْكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنْسَانُ ضَعِيفًا	⁦‎Yureedul laahu ai yukhaffifa ‘ankum; wa khuliqal insaanu da’eefaa‎⁩	⁦‎ALLAH desires to make light your burdens, and man is created weak.‎⁩
29	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَنْ تَرَاضٍ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa ta’kulooo amwaalakum bainakum bilbaatili ‘illaaa an takoona tijaaratan ‘an taraadim minkum; wa laa taqtulooo anfusakum; innal laaha kaana bikum Raheemaa‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, devour not your property among yourselves by illegal methods except that it be trading by your mutual consent. And kill not your people. Surely ALLAH is ever Merciful to you.‎⁩
30	وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا	⁦‎Wa mai yaf’al zaalika ‘udwaananw wa zulman fasawfa nusleehi Naaraa; wa kaana zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoso does this aggressively and unjustly, We shall soon cast him into fire. And this is ever easy for ALLAH.‎⁩

31	إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا	⁦‎In tajtaniboo kabaaa’ira maa tunhawna ‘anhu nukaffir ‘ankum saiyiaatikum wa nudkhilkum mudkhalan kareemaa‎⁩	⁦‎If you shun the great things which you are forbidden, We shall do away with your evil (inclinations) and cause you to enter an honourable place of entering.‎⁩
32	وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا ۖ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ ۚ وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa laa tatamannaw maa faddalal laahu bihee ba’dakum ‘alaa ba’d; lirrijaali naseebum mimmak tasaboo wa linnisaaa’i naseebum mimmak tasabn; was’alullaaha min fadlih; innal laaha kaana bikulli shai’in ‘Aleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And covet not that by which ALLAH has made some of you excel others. For men is the benefit of what they earn. And for women is the benefit of what they earn. And ask ALLAH of His grace. Surely ALLAH is ever Knower of all things.‎⁩
33	وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مَوَالِيَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَآتُوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Wa likullin ja’alnaa ma waaliya mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboon; wallazeena ‘aqadat aimaanukum fa aatoohum naseebahum; innal laaha kaana ‘alaa kulli shai’in Shaheedaa‎⁩	⁦‎And to everyone We have appointed heirs of that which parents and near relatives leave. And as to those with whom your right hands have ratified agreements, give them their due. Surely ALLAH is ever Witness over all things.‎⁩
34	الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ ۚ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّاتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا	⁦‎Arrijaalu qawwaamoona ‘alan nisaaa’i bimaa fad dalallaahu ba’dahum ‘alaa ba’dinw wa bimaaa anfaqoo min amwaalihim; fassaalihaatu qaanitaatun haafizaatul lil ghaibi bimaa hafizal laah; wallaatee takhaafoona nushoo zahunna fa ‘izoohunna wahjuroohunna fil madaaji’i wadriboohunna fa in ata’nakum falaa tabghoo ‘alaihinna sabeelaa; innallaaha kaana ‘Aliyyan Kabeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎Men are the maintainers of women, with what ALLAH has made some of them to excel others and with what they spend out of their wealth. So the good women are obedient, guarding the unseen as ALLAH has guarded. And (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the beds and chastise them. So if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Surely ALLAH is ever Exalted, Great.‎⁩
35	وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ شِقَاقَ بَيْنِهِمَا فَابْعَثُوا حَكَمًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَحَكَمًا مِنْ أَهْلِهَا إِنْ يُرِيدَا إِصْلَاحًا يُوَفِّقِ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُمَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا خَبِيرًا	⁦‎Wa in khiftum shiqaaqa baini himaa fab’asoo haka mam min ahlihee wa hakamam min ahlihaa; iny-yureedaaa islaah ai-yuwaffiqil laahu bainahumaa; innal laaha kaana ‘Aleeman Khabeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And if you fear a breach between the two, appoint an arbiter from his people and an arbiter from her people. If they both desire agreement, ALLAH will effect harmony between them. Surely ALLAH is ever Knowing, Aware.‎⁩
36	۞ وَاعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَنْ كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا	⁦‎Wa’budul laaha wa laa tushrikoo bihee shai’anw wa bilwaalidaini ihsaananw wa bizil qurbaa walyataamaa walmasaakeeni waljaari zilqurbaa waljaaril junubi wassaahibi biljambi wabnis sabeeli wa maa malakat aimaanukum; innal laaha laa yuhibbu man kaana mukhtaalan fakhooraa‎⁩	⁦‎And serve ALLAH, and associate naught with Him, and be good to the parents and to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the neighbour of (your) kin and the alien neighbour, and the companion in a journey and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands possess. Surely ALLAH loves not such as are proud, boastful.‎⁩
37	الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا	⁦‎Allazeena yabkhaloona wa ya’muroonan naasa bilbukhli wa yaktumoona maaa aataahu mullaahu min fadlih; wa a’tadnaa lilkaafireena ‘azaabam muheenaa‎⁩	⁦‎Who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide that which ALLAH has given them out of His grace. And We have prepared for the disbelievers an abasing chastisement.‎⁩
38	وَالَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا	⁦‎Wallazeena yunfiqoona amwaalahum ri’aaa’an naasi wa laa yu’minoona billaahi wa laa bil Yawmil Aakhir; wa mai yakunish shaitaanu lahoo qareenan fasaaa’a qareenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And those who spend their wealth to be seen of men and believe not in ALLAH nor in the Last Day. And as for him whose companion is the devil, an evil companion is he!‎⁩
39	وَمَاذَا عَلَيْهِمْ لَوْ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِهِمْ عَلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa maazaa ‘alaihim law aamanoo billaahi wal Yawmil Aakhiri wa anfaqoo mimmaa razaqahumul laah; wa kaanallaahu bihim ‘aleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And what (harm) would it do them if they believe in ALLAH and the Last Day and spend of that which ALLAH has given them? And ALLAH is ever Knower of them.‎⁩
40	إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ ۖ وَإِنْ تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِنْ لَدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Innal laaha laa yazlimu misqaala zarratinw wa in taku hasanatany yudaa’ifhaa wa yu’ti mil ladunhu ajran ‘azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Surely ALLAH wrongs not the weight of an atom; and if it is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.‎⁩

41	فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Fa kayfa idhā jiʾnā min kulli ummatin bi-shahīd wa jiʾnā bika ʿalā hāʾulāʾi shahīdā‎⁩	⁦‎How will it be when We bring from every community a witness and bring you as a witness over these?‎⁩	⁦‎How will it be when We bring forth from every community a witness, and bring you as witness over them?‎⁩
42	يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَعَصَوُا الرَّسُولَ لَوْ تُسَوَّىٰ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضُ وَلَا يَكْتُمُونَ اللَّهَ حَدِيثًا	⁦‎Yawmaʾidhin yawaddu alladhīna kafarū wa ʿaṣaw ar-rasūla law tusawwā bihimu al-arḍ wa lā yaktumūna Allāha ḥadīthā‎⁩	⁦‎On that Day those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that the earth were leveled over them, and they will not conceal from GOD any statement.‎⁩	⁦‎On that Day, those who denied and disobeyed the Messenger will wish the earth to be leveled over them, and they will conceal nothing from GOD.‎⁩
43	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَعْلَمُوا مَا تَقُولُونَ وَلَا جُنُبًا إِلَّا عَابِرِي سَبِيلٍ حَتَّىٰ تَغْتَسِلُوا ۚ وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَىٰ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لَامَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا	⁦‎Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū lā taqrabū aṣ-ṣalāta wa antum sukārā ḥattā taʿlamū mā taqūlūna wa lā junuban illā ʿābirī sabīlin ḥattā taghtasilū wa in kuntum marḍā aw ʿalā safarin aw jāʾa aḥadun minkum mina al-ghāʾiṭ aw lāmastumu an-nisāʾ fa lam tajidū māʾan fa tayammamū ṣaʿīdan ṭayyiban fa msaḥū bi-wujūhikum wa aydīkum inna Allāha kāna ʿafuwan ghafūrā‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying, nor while in a state of major impurity—except when passing through—until you have washed. And if you are ill or on a journey, or one of you comes from relieving himself, or you have touched women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands. Indeed GOD is Pardoning, Forgiving.‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, do not approach prayer while intoxicated until you understand what you say, nor in a state of major impurity—except while passing through—until you have purified yourselves. 44	أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يَشْتَرُونَ الضَّلَالَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيلَ	⁦‎Alam tara ilā alladhīna ūtū naṣīban mina al-kitābi yashtarūna aḍ-ḍalālata wa yurīdūna an taḍillū as-sabīl‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Book? They purchase error and wish that you should stray from the path.‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Book? They choose error and desire that you too stray from the path.‎⁩
45	وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Wa Allāhu aʿlamu bi-aʿdāʾikum wa kafā bi-llāhi waliyyan wa kafā bi-llāhi naṣīrā‎⁩	⁦‎GOD knows best your enemies. GOD is sufficient as a protector, and GOD is sufficient as a helper.‎⁩	⁦‎GOD knows best your enemies. GOD is sufficient as Protector, and GOD is sufficient as Helper.‎⁩
46	مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَٰكِنْ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا	⁦‎Mina alladhīna hādū yuḥarrifūna al-kalima ʿan mawāḍiʿihi wa yaqūlūna samiʿnā wa ʿaṣaynā wa ismaʿ ghayra musmaʿin wa rāʿinā layyan bi-alsinatihim wa ṭaʿnan fī ad-dīn wa law annahum qālū samiʿnā wa aṭaʿnā wa ismaʿ wa unẓurnā lakāna khayran lahum wa aqwama wa lākin laʿanahumu Allāhu bi-kufrihim fa-lā yuʾminūna illā qalīlā‎⁩	⁦‎Among the Jews are those who distort words from their proper places and say, “We hear and disobey,” and “Hear without hearing,” and “Rāʿinā,” twisting their tongues and slandering the religion. If they had said, “We hear and obey,” and “Hear,” and “Look upon us,” it would have been better for them and more upright. But GOD has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe only a little.‎⁩	⁦‎Among those who are Jews are some who distort words from their proper places, saying: “We hear and we disobey,” and “Hear without hearing,” and “Rāʿinā,” twisting their tongues and attacking the religion. 47	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ آمِنُوا بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَىٰ أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا	⁦‎Yā ayyuhā alladhīna ūtū al-kitāba āminū bimā nazzalnā muṣaddiqan limā maʿakum min qabli an naṭmisa wujūhan fanaruddahā ʿalā adbārihā aw nalʿanahum kamā laʿannā aṣḥāba as-sabti wa kāna amru Allāhi mafʿūlā‎⁩	⁦‎O you who were given the Book, believe in what We have sent down confirming what is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them backward or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers. And ever is the command of GOD accomplished.‎⁩	⁦‎O you who were given the Book, believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you, before We efface faces and turn them backward, or curse them as We cursed the companions of the Sabbath. And the command of GOD is always fulfilled.‎⁩
48	إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَىٰ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Inna Allāha lā yaghfiru an yushraka bihi wa yaghfiru mā dūna dhālika liman yashāʾ wa man yushrik bi-llāhi faqad iftarā ithman ʿaẓīmā‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, GOD does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And whoever associates others with GOD has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, GOD does not forgive that partners be associated with Him, but He forgives what is lesser than that for whom He wills. Whoever associates with GOD has indeed forged a grave sin.‎⁩
49	أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يُزَكُّونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ ۚ بَلِ اللَّهُ يُزَكِّي مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا	⁦‎Alam tara ilā alladhīna yuzakkūna anfusahum balillāhu yuzakkī man yashāʾ wa lā yuẓlamūna fatīlā‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who claim purity for themselves? Rather, GOD purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, even as much as a thread.‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who declare themselves pure? Rather, GOD purifies whom He wills, and they are not wronged even to the slightest degree.‎⁩
50	انْظُرْ كَيْفَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۖ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِ إِثْمًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Unẓur kayfa yaftarūna ʿalā Allāhi al-kadhib wa kafā bihi ithman mubīnā‎⁩	⁦‎Look how they invent about GOD untruth, and sufficient is that as a manifest sin.‎⁩	⁦‎See how they fabricate lies against GOD. This alone is a clear and sufficient sin.‎⁩
51	أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ وَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَٰؤُلَاءِ أَهْدَىٰ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Alam tara ilā alladhīna ūtū naṣīban mina al-kitābi yuʾminūna bi al-jibti wa aṭ-ṭāghūti wa yaqūlūna lilladhīna kafarū hāʾulāʾi ahdā mina alladhīna āmanū sabīlā‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Book? They believe in superstition and false objects of worship and say about the disbelievers, “These are better guided than the believers.”‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those given a portion of the Book? They believe in falsehood and tyranny, and say of the disbelievers: “These are better guided than the believers.”‎⁩
52	أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَمَنْ يَلْعَنِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Ulāʾika alladhīna laʿanahumu Allāhu wa man yalʿani Allāhu falan tajida lahu naṣīrā‎⁩	⁦‎Those are the ones whom GOD has cursed; and he whom GOD curses – never will you find for him a helper.‎⁩	⁦‎Those are the ones whom GOD has cursed, and whoever is cursed by GOD will find no helper.‎⁩
53	أَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِنَ الْمُلْكِ فَإِذًا لَا يُؤْتُونَ النَّاسَ نَقِيرًا	⁦‎Am lahum naṣībun mina al-mulki fa idhan lā yuʾtūna an-nāsa naqīrā‎⁩	⁦‎Or have they a share of dominion? Then they would not give the people even as much as the speck on a date seed.‎⁩	⁦‎Do they have a share in sovereignty? If so, they would not give people even the smallest fraction.‎⁩
54	أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۖ فَقَدْ آتَيْنَا آلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مُلْكًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Am yaḥsudūna an-nāsa ʿalā mā ātāhumu Allāhu min faḍlih faqad ātaynā āla Ibrāhīma al-kitāba wa al-ḥikmata wa ātaynāhum mulkan ʿaẓīmā‎⁩	⁦‎Or do they envy people for what GOD has given them of His bounty? But We had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.‎⁩	⁦‎Or do they envy people for what GOD has granted them of His grace? We had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture, wisdom, and a great dominion.‎⁩
55	فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ صَدَّ عَنْهُ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا	⁦‎Faminhum man āmana bihi wa minhum man ṣadda ʿanhu wa kafā bi-jahannama saʿīrā‎⁩	⁦‎And among them were those who believed in it, and among them were those who turned away from it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze.‎⁩	⁦‎Among them are those who believed, and among them are those who turned away. And Hell is sufficient as a blazing fire.‎⁩
56	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُودُهُمْ بَدَّلْنَاهُمْ جُلُودًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Inna alladhīna kafarū bi-āyātinā sawfa nuṣlīhim nāran kullamā naḍijat julūduhum baddalnāhum julūdan ghayrahā li-yadhūqū al-ʿadhāb inna Allāha kāna ʿazīzan ḥakīmā‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, GOD is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, those who deny Our signs—We shall cast them into a Fire. Whenever their skins are consumed, We replace them with others so that they may taste the punishment. Indeed, GOD is Mighty, Wise.‎⁩
57	وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا أَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ ۖ وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا	⁦‎Wa alladhīna āmanū wa ʿamilū aṣ-ṣāliḥāti sanudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā al-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan lahum fīhā azwājun muṭahharatun wa nudkhiluhum ẓillan ẓalīlā‎⁩	⁦‎But those who believe and do righteous deeds – We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.‎⁩	⁦‎But those who believe and do righteous deeds—We shall admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. They will have purified companions, and We shall admit them into abundant shade.‎⁩
58	۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَنْ تَحْكُمُوا بِالْعَدْلِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا	⁦‎Inna Allāha yaʾmurukum an tuʾaddū al-amānāti ilā ahlihā wa idhā ḥakamtum bayna an-nāsi an taḥkumū bi al-ʿadli inna Allāha niʿimmā yaʿiẓukum bihi inna Allāha kāna samīʿan baṣīrā‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, GOD commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Indeed, GOD admonishes you with what is excellent. Indeed, GOD is ever Hearing and Seeing.‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, GOD commands you to deliver trusts to their rightful owners, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice. Indeed, how excellent is what GOD exhorts you to. Surely, GOD is Hearing, Seeing.‎⁩
59	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ ۖ فَإِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا	⁦‎Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū aṭīʿū Allāha wa aṭīʿū ar-rasūla wa ulī al-amri minkum fa in tanāzaʿtum fī shayʾin faruddūhu ilā Allāhi wa ar-rasūli in kuntum tuʾminūna bi-Allāhi wa al-yawmi al-ākhiri dhālika khayrun wa aḥsanu taʾwīlā‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, obey GOD and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to GOD and the Messenger, if you should believe in GOD and the Last Day. That is the best way and best in result.‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, obey GOD, obey the Messenger, and those entrusted with authority among you. If you dispute over anything, refer it back to GOD and the Messenger, if you believe in GOD and the Last Day. That is better and yields the best outcome.‎⁩
60	أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَتَحَاكَمُوا إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوا أَنْ يَكْفُرُوا بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا	⁦‎Alam tara ilā alladhīna yazʿumūna annahum āmanū bimā unzila ilayka wa mā unzila min qablika yurīdūna an yataḥākamū ilā aṭ-ṭāghūt wa qad umirū an yakfurū bihi wa yurīdu ash-shayṭānu an yuḍillahum ḍalālan baʿīdā‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer judgment to false deities while they were commanded to reject them; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you and before you? They seek judgment from false authorities, though they were commanded to reject them. And Satan desires to lead them far astray.‎⁩

61	وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْكَ صُدُودًا	⁦‎Wa idhā qīla lahum taʿālaw ilā mā anzala Allāhu wa ilā ar-rasūli raʾayta al-munāfiqīna yaṣuddūna ʿanka ṣudūdā‎⁩	⁦‎And when it is said to them, “Come to what GOD has revealed and to the Messenger,” you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion.‎⁩	⁦‎And when it is said to them, “Come to what GOD has revealed and to the Messenger,” you see the hypocrites turning away from you with clear aversion.‎⁩
62	فَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَاءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا	⁦‎Fa kayfa idhā aṣābat-hum muṣībatun bimā qaddamat aydīhim thumma jāʾūka yaḥlifūna bi-llāhi in aradnā illā iḥsānan wa tawfīqā‎⁩	⁦‎So how will it be when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth, then they come to you swearing by GOD, “We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation”?‎⁩	⁦‎So how will it be when a calamity befalls them because of what their own hands have sent forth, and then they come to you swearing by GOD, “We intended nothing but good and reconciliation”?‎⁩
63	أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَعِظْهُمْ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَوْلًا بَلِيغًا	⁦‎Ulāʾika alladhīna yaʿlamu Allāhu mā fī qulūbihim fa aʿriḍ ʿanhum wa ʿiẓhum wa qul lahum fī anfusihim qawlan balīghā‎⁩	⁦‎Those are the ones of whom GOD knows what is in their hearts, so turn away from them but admonish them and speak to them a far-reaching word about themselves.‎⁩	⁦‎Those are the ones whose hearts are known to GOD; so turn away from them, yet admonish them and speak to them words that penetrate their inner selves.‎⁩
64	وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ جَاءُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللَّهَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wa mā arsalnā min rasūlin illā li-yuṭāʿa bi-idhni Allāhi wa law annahum idh ẓalamū anfusahum jāʾūka fa-staghfarū Allāha wa istaghfara lahumu ar-rasūlu la-wajadū Allāha tawwāban raḥīmā‎⁩	⁦‎And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of GOD. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you and asked forgiveness of GOD and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found GOD Accepting of repentance and Merciful.‎⁩	⁦‎We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by the permission of GOD. If, after wronging themselves, they had come to you and sought forgiveness from GOD, and the Messenger had sought forgiveness for them, they would have found GOD ever accepting of repentance, ever merciful.‎⁩
65	فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا	⁦‎Fa-lā wa rabbika lā yuʾminūna ḥattā yuḥakkimūka fīmā shajara baynahum thumma lā yajidū fī anfusihim ḥarajan mimmā qaḍayta wa yusallimū taslīmā‎⁩	⁦‎But no, by your LORD, they will not believe until they make you judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in full submission.‎⁩	⁦‎No, by your LORD, they will not truly believe until they make you judge in what arises between them, and then find within themselves no resistance to what you decide, but submit with full submission.‎⁩

66	وَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ اقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ أَوِ اخْرُجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ مَا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُوا مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا	⁦‎Wa law annā katabnā ʿalayhim ani uqtulū anfusakum aw ikhrujū min diyārikum mā faʿalūhu illā qalīlun minhum wa law annahum faʿalū mā yūʿaẓūna bihi lakāna khayran lahum wa ashadda tathbītā‎⁩	⁦‎And if We had decreed upon them, “Kill yourselves” or “Leave your homes,” they would not have done it except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and more strengthening.‎⁩	⁦‎If We had prescribed for them, “Take your own lives” or “Leave your homes,” they would not have done so except for a few among them. Yet if they had acted upon what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and more firm in strengthening them.‎⁩
67	وَإِذًا لَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنَّا أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wa idhan la-ātaynāhum min ladunnā ajran ʿaẓīmā‎⁩	⁦‎And then We would have given them from Us a great reward.‎⁩	⁦‎And then We would have granted them from Our presence a great reward.‎⁩
68	وَلَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا	⁦‎Wa la-hadaynāhum ṣirāṭan mustaqīmā‎⁩	⁦‎And We would have guided them to a straight path.‎⁩	⁦‎And We would have guided them upon a straight path.‎⁩
69	وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ ۚ وَحَسُنَ أُولَٰئِكَ رَفِيقًا	⁦‎Wa man yuṭiʿi Allāha wa ar-rasūla fa-ulāʾika maʿa alladhīna anʿama Allāhu ʿalayhim mina an-nabiyyīna wa aṣ-ṣiddīqīna wa ash-shuhadāʾi wa aṣ-ṣāliḥīna wa ḥasuna ulāʾika rafīqā‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever obeys GOD and the Messenger—those will be with the ones upon whom GOD has bestowed favor: of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.‎⁩	⁦‎Whoever obeys GOD and the Messenger will be among those upon whom GOD has bestowed grace: the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses, and the righteous—and how excellent are such companions.‎⁩
70	ذَٰلِكَ الْفَضْلُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ عَلِيمًا	⁦‎Dhālika al-faḍlu mina Allāh wa kafā bi-llāhi ʿalīmā‎⁩	⁦‎That is the bounty from GOD, and sufficient is GOD as Knowing.‎⁩	⁦‎That is the grace from GOD, and GOD is sufficient as All-Knowing.‎⁩
71	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا خُذُوا حِذْرَكُمْ فَانْفِرُوا ثُبَاتٍ أَوِ انْفِرُوا جَمِيعًا	⁦‎Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū khudhū ḥidhrakum fanfirū thubātin aw infirū jamīʿā‎⁩	⁦‎O you who have believed, take your precaution and either go forth in companies or go forth all together.‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, take your precautions and go forth either in groups or all together.‎⁩
72	وَإِنَّ مِنْكُمْ لَمَنْ لَيُبَطِّئَنَّ فَإِنْ أَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالَ قَدْ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ إِذْ لَمْ أَكُنْ مَعَهُمْ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Wa inna minkum la-man layubaṭṭiʾanna fa in aṣābatkum muṣībatun qāla qad anʿama Allāhu ʿalayya idh lam akun maʿahum shahīdā‎⁩	⁦‎And indeed, among you is he who lingers behind; and if disaster strikes you, he says, “GOD has favored me in that I was not present with them.”‎⁩	⁦‎Indeed, among you are those who hold back; and if a misfortune strikes you, they say: “GOD has favored me, since I was not with them.”‎⁩
73	وَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wa la-in aṣābakum faḍlun mina Allāhi la-yaqūlanna ka-an lam takun baynakum wa baynahu mawaddatun yā laytanī kuntu maʿahum fa-afūza fawzan ʿaẓīmā‎⁩	⁦‎But if bounty comes to you from GOD, he will surely say, as if there had never been between you and him any affection, “Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have attained a great attainment.”‎⁩	⁦‎But if a favor from GOD comes to you, he will say—as though there had never been affection between you and him—“If only I had been with them, I would have achieved a great success.”‎⁩
74	۞ فَلْيُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يَشْرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُقْتَلْ أَوْ يَغْلِبْ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Fal-yuqātil fī sabīli Allāhi alladhīna yashrūna al-ḥayāta ad-dunyā bi al-ākhirah wa man yuqātil fī sabīli Allāhi fa-yuqtal aw yaghlib fa-sawfa nuʾtīhi ajran ʿaẓīmā‎⁩	⁦‎So let those fight in the cause of GOD who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And whoever fights in the cause of GOD and is killed or achieves victory—We will bestow upon him a great reward.‎⁩	⁦‎So let those fight in the path of GOD who exchange the life of this world for the Hereafter. Whoever fights in the path of GOD—whether slain or victorious—We shall grant him a great reward.‎⁩

75	وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Wa mā lakum lā tuqātilūna fī sabīli Allāhi wa al-mustaḍʿafīna mina ar-rijāli wa an-nisāʾi wa al-wildāni alladhīna yaqūlūna rabbanā akhrijnā min hādhihi al-qaryati aẓ-ẓālimi ahluhā wa ijʿal lanā min ladunka waliyyan wa ijʿal lanā min ladunka naṣīrā‎⁩	⁦‎And what is with you that you do not fight in the cause of GOD and the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our LORD, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper”?‎⁩	⁦‎What is with you that you do not fight in the path of GOD and for the oppressed among men, women, and children, who cry: “Our LORD, bring us out of this town whose people are unjust, and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and a helper”?‎⁩
76	الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُوا أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا	⁦‎Alladhīna āmanū yuqātilūna fī sabīli Allāhi wa alladhīna kafarū yuqātilūna fī sabīli aṭ-ṭāghūt fa-qātilū awliyāʾa ash-shayṭān inna kayda ash-shayṭāni kāna ḍaʿīfā‎⁩	⁦‎Those who believe fight in the cause of GOD, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of ṭāghūt. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.‎⁩	⁦‎Those who believe fight in the path of GOD, while those who deny fight in the path of ṭāghūt. So fight against the allies of Satan; indeed, the scheming of Satan is weak.‎⁩

77	أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً ۚ وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ ۗ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِمَنِ اتَّقَىٰ وَلَا تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا	⁦‎Alam tara ilā alladhīna qīla lahum kuffū aydiyakum wa aqīmū aṣ-ṣalāta wa ātū az-zakāta fa-lammā kutiba ʿalayhimu al-qitālu idhā farīqun minhum yakhshawna an-nāsa ka-khashyati Allāhi aw ashadda khashyah wa qālū rabbanā lima katabta ʿalaynā al-qitāla lawlā akhkhartanā ilā ajalin qarīb qul matāʿu ad-dunyā qalīlun wa al-ākhiratu khayrun limani ittaqā wa lā tuẓlamūna fatīlā‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who were told, “Restrain your hands, establish prayer, and give zakah”? But when fighting was prescribed for them, at once a party of them feared people as they fear GOD or with even greater fear, and said, “Our LORD, why have You prescribed fighting for us? If only You had delayed it for a short time.” Say, “The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for the one who is mindful. And you will not be wronged even to the slightest extent.”‎⁩	⁦‎Have you not seen those who were told: “Restrain your hands, establish prayer, and give zakah”? Yet when fighting was prescribed for them, a group among them feared people as they should fear GOD—or even more—and said: “Our LORD, why have You prescribed fighting for us? If only You had delayed it for a short time.” Say: “The enjoyment of this world is little, while the Hereafter is better for the one who is mindful. And you will not be wronged even in the slightest measure.”‎⁩
78	أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُوا يُدْرِكْكُمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنْتُمْ فِي بُرُوجٍ مُشَيَّدَةٍ ۗ وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ حَسَنَةٌ يَقُولُوا هَٰذِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَقُولُوا هَٰذِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ ۚ قُلْ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَالِ هَٰؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمِ لَا يَكَادُونَ يَفْقَهُونَ حَدِيثًا	⁦‎Aynamā takūnū yudrikkumu al-mawtu wa law kuntum fī burūjin mushayyadah wa in tuṣib-hum ḥasanatun yaqūlū hādhihi min ʿindi Allāh wa in tuṣib-hum sayyiʾatun yaqūlū hādhihi min ʿindik qul kullun min ʿindi Allāh fa mā li-hāʾulāʾi al-qawmi lā yakādūna yafqahūna ḥadīthā‎⁩	⁦‎Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. And if good comes to them, they say, “This is from GOD”; but if evil befalls them, they say, “This is from you.” Say, “All is from GOD.” So what is wrong with these people that they can hardly understand any statement?‎⁩	⁦‎Wherever you may be, death will reach you—even if you are within fortified towers. If good befalls them, they say: “This is from GOD”; but if harm befalls them, they say: “This is from you.” Say: “All is from GOD.” What is wrong with these people, that they scarcely understand what is being said?‎⁩
79	مَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِنْ نَفْسِكَ ۚ وَأَرْسَلْنَاكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Mā aṣābaka min ḥasanatin fa-mina Allāh wa mā aṣābaka min sayyiʾatin fa-min nafsik wa arsalnāka li-n-nāsi rasūlan wa kafā bi-llāhi shahīdā‎⁩	⁦‎What comes to you of good is from GOD, but what comes to you of evil is from yourself. And We have sent you to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is GOD as Witness.‎⁩	⁦‎Whatever good reaches you is from GOD, while whatever harm befalls you comes from yourself. We have sent you to humanity as a Messenger, and GOD is sufficient as Witness.‎⁩

81	وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ بَيَّتَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ غَيْرَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ ۖ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا	⁦‎Wa yaqūlūna ṭāʿah fa idhā barazū min ʿindika bayyata ṭāʾifatun minhum ghayra alladhī taqūl wa Allāhu yaktubu mā yubayyitūna fa aʿriḍ ʿanhum wa tawakkal ʿalā Allāh wa kafā bi-llāhi wakīlā‎⁩	⁦‎And they say, “Obedience.” But when they leave you, a group of them spend the night planning something other than what you say. But GOD records what they plan by night. So turn away from them and rely upon GOD. And sufficient is GOD as Disposer of affairs.‎⁩	⁦‎They say: “Obedience.” But when they depart from you, a group among them plots by night something other than what you say. Yet GOD records what they plan. So turn away from them and place your trust in GOD—GOD is sufficient as a disposer of affairs.‎⁩
82	أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا	⁦‎Afalā yatadabbarūna al-qurʾān wa law kāna min ʿindi ghayri Allāhi la-wajadū fīhi ikhtilāfan kathīrā‎⁩	⁦‎Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from other than GOD, they would have found within it much contradiction.‎⁩	⁦‎Do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? Had it been from other than GOD, they would have found within it many contradictions.‎⁩
83	وَإِذَا جَاءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِنَ الْأَمْنِ أَوِ الْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُوا بِهِ ۖ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنْبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَاتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّيْطَانَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا	⁦‎Wa idhā jāʾahum amrun mina al-amni awi al-khawfi adhāʿū bihi wa law raddūhu ilā ar-rasūli wa ilā ulī al-amri minhum la-ʿalimahu alladhīna yastanbiṭūnahu minhum wa lawlā faḍlu Allāhi ʿalaykum wa raḥmatuhu la-ittabaʿtumu ash-shayṭāna illā qalīlā‎⁩	⁦‎And when there comes to them information about security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it to the Messenger and to those of authority among them, then those who can draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it. And if not for the favor of GOD upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few.‎⁩	⁦‎When news reaches them concerning security or fear, they spread it openly. But if they had referred it to the Messenger and to those entrusted with authority among them, those able to derive understanding would have known it properly. Were it not for the grace of GOD upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan—except for a few.‎⁩

84	فَقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ إِلَّا نَفْسَكَ ۚ وَحَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُفَّ بَأْسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ وَاللَّهُ أَشَدُّ بَأْسًا وَأَشَدُّ تَنْكِيلًا	⁦‎Faqātil fī sabīli Allāhi lā tukallafu illā nafsak wa ḥarriḍi al-muʾminīn ʿasā Allāhu an yakuffa baʾsa alladhīna kafarū wa Allāhu ashaddu baʾsan wa ashaddu tankīlā‎⁩	⁦‎So fight in the cause of GOD; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers that perhaps GOD will restrain the might of those who disbelieve. And GOD is stronger in might and stronger in punishment.‎⁩	⁦‎So fight in the path of GOD—you are accountable only for yourself—and urge the believers on. Perhaps GOD will restrain the power of those who deny. And GOD is stronger in might and more severe in consequence.‎⁩
85	مَنْ يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَكُنْ لَهُ نَصِيبٌ مِنْهَا ۖ وَمَنْ يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةً يَكُنْ لَهُ كِفْلٌ مِنْهَا ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُقِيتًا	⁦‎Man yashfaʿ shafāʿatan ḥasanatan yakun lahu naṣībun minhā wa man yashfaʿ shafāʿatan sayyiʾatan yakun lahu kiflun minhā wa kāna Allāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin muqītā‎⁩	⁦‎Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share of it, and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a portion of it. And ever is GOD, over all things, a Keeper.‎⁩	⁦‎Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share in it, and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will bear a portion of it. And GOD is ever over all things a Keeper.‎⁩
86	وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا	⁦‎Wa idhā ḥuyyītum bi-taḥiyyatin fa-ḥayyū bi-aḥsana minhā aw ruddūhā inna Allāha kāna ʿalā kulli shayʾin ḥasībā‎⁩	⁦‎And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with better than it or return it. Indeed, GOD is ever, over all things, an Accountant.‎⁩	⁦‎When you are greeted with a greeting, respond with something better—or return it in like manner. Indeed, GOD is ever an accountant over all things.‎⁩

87	اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۗ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حَدِيثًا	⁦‎Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwa la yajma'annakum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feeh; wa man asdaqu mminallaahi hadeesaa‎⁩	⁦‎ALLAH, there is no god but He — He will certainly gather you together on the Resurrection day, there is no doubt in it. And who is more true in word than ALLAH?‎⁩
88	۞ فَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَاللَّهُ أَرْكَسَهُمْ بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَهْدُوا مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ ۖ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Famaa lakum filmuna afiqeena fi'ataini wallaahu arkasahum bimaa kasaboo; atureedoona an tahdoo man adallal laahu wa mmai yudlilil laahu falan tajida lahoo sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Why should you, then, be two parties in relation to the hypocrites while ALLAH has made them return (to disbelief) for what they have earned? Do you desire to guide him whom ALLAH leaves in error? And whomsoever ALLAH leaves in error thou canst not find a way for him.‎⁩
89	وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً ۖ فَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Wadoo law takfuroona kamaa kafaroo fatakoonoona sawaaa'an falaa tattakhizoo minhum awliyaaa'a hattaa yuhaajiroo fee sabeelil laah; fa in tawallaw fa khuzoohum waqtuloohum haisu wajat tumoohum wa laa tattakhizoo minhum waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎They long that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved so that you might be on the same level; so take not from among them friends until they flee (their homes) in ALLAH's way. Then if they turn back (to hostility), seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take no friend nor helper from among them,‎⁩
90	إِلَّا الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَاءُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُوا قَوْمَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ ۚ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Illal lazeena yasiloona ilaa qawmim binakum wa bainahum meesaaqun aw jaaa'ookum hasirat sudooruhum ai yuqaatilookum aw yuqaatiloo qawmahum, wa law shaaa'al laahu lasallatahum 'alaikum falaqaatalookum; fa ini' tazalookum falam yuqaatilookum wa alqaw ilaikumus salama famaa ja'alal laahu lakum 'alaihim sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Except those who join a people between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people. And if ALLAH had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they would have fought you. So if they withdraw from you and fight you not and offer you peace, then ALLAH allows you no way against them.‎⁩
91	سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُوا قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوا إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُوا فِيهَا ۚ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُوا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Satajidoona aakhareena yureedoona ai yaamanookum wa yaamanoo qawmahum kullamaa ruddooo ilal itnati urkisoo feehaa; fa il lam ya'tazilookum wa yulqooo ilai kumus salama wa yakuffooo aidiyahum fakhuzoohum waqtuloohum haisu saqif tumoohum; wa ulaaa'ikum ja'alnaa lakum 'alaihim sultaanam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎You will find others who desire to be secure from you and secure from their own people. Whenever they are made to return to hostility, they are plunged into it. So if they withdraw not from you, nor offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them. And against these We have given you a clear authority.‎⁩
92	وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَأً ۚ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَأً فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَصَّدَّقُوا ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ فَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Wa maa kaana limu'minin ai yaqtula mu'minan illaa khata'aa; waman qatala mu'minan khata'an fatabreeru raqabatim mu'minatinw wa diyatum mmusallamatun ilaaa ahliheee illaaa ai yassaddaqoo; fa in kaana min qawmin 'aduwwil lakum wa huwa mu'minun fatabreeru raqabatim mu'minah; wa in kaana min qawmim bainakum wa bainahum meesaaqun fadiyatum mmusallamatun ilaaa ahlihee wa tahreeru raqabatim mu'minatin famal lam yajid fa Siyaamu shahraini mutataabi'aini tawhatam minal laah; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And a believer would not kill a believer except by mistake. And he who kills a believer by mistake should free a believing slave, and blood-money should be paid to his people unless they remit it as alms. But if he be from a tribe hostile to you and he is a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (suffices). And if he be from a tribe between whom and you there is a covenant, the blood-money should be paid to his people along with the freeing of a believing slave but he who has not the means should fast for two months successively: a penance from ALLAH. And ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
93	وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wa mai yaqtul mu'minammuta 'ammidan fajazaaa'uhoo Jahannamu khaalidan feehaa wa ghadibal laahu' alaihi wa la'anahoo wa a'adda lahoo 'azaaban 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is hell, abiding therein: and ALLAH is wroth with him and He has cursed him and prepared for him a grievous chastisement.‎⁩
94	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَتَبَيَّنُوا وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ أَلْقَىٰ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَامَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِيرَةٌ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كُنْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa darabtum fee sabeelil laahi fatabaiyanoo wa laa taqooloo liman alqaaa ilaikumus salaama lasta mu'minan tabtaghoona 'aradal hayaatid dunyaa fa'indal laahi maghaanimu kaseerah; kazaalika kuntum min qablu famannnal laahu 'alaikum fatabaiyanoo; innallaaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, when you go forth (to fight) in ALLAH's way, make investigation, and say not to any one who offers you salutation, Thou art not a believer, seeking the good of this world’s life. But with ALLAH there are abundant gains. You too were such before, then ALLAH conferred a benefit on you; so make investigation. Surely ALLAH is ever Aware of what you do.‎⁩
95	لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۚ فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً ۚ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَفَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Laa yastawil qaa'idoona Minal mu'mineena ghairu ulid darari walmujaahidoona fee sabeelil laahi bi amwaalihim wa anfusihim; faddalal laahul mujaahideena bi am waalihim wa anfusihim 'alalqaa'ideena darajah; wa kullanw wa'adal laahul husnaa; wa faddalal laahul mujaahideena 'alal qaa'ideena ajran 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎The holders back from among the believers, not disabled by injury, and those who strive hard in ALLAH's way with their property and their persons, are not equal. ALLAH has made the strivers with their property and their persons to excel the holders-back a (high) degree. And to each ALLAH has promised good. And ALLAH has granted to the strivers above the holders-back a mighty reward.‎⁩
96	دَرَجَاتٍ مِنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Darajaatim minhu wa maghfiratanw wa rahmah; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎(High) degrees from Him and protection and mercy. And ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩

97	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا فِيمَ كُنْتُمْ ۖ قَالُوا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ قَالُوا أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا فِيهَا ۚ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا	⁦‎Innal lazeena tawaffaa humul malaaa'ikatu zaalimeee anfusihim qaaloo feema kuntum qaaloo kunnaa mustad'afeena fil-ard; qaalooo alam takun ardul laahi waasi'atan fatuhaajiroo feehaa; fa ulaaa'ika maawaahum Jahannamu wa saaa'at maseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎(As for) those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to themselves, (the angels) will say What were you doing? They will say We were weak in the earth (They will) say: Was not ALLAH's earth spacious, so that you could have migrated therein? So these it is whose refuge is hell and it is an evil resort.‎⁩
98	إِلَّا الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Illal mustad 'afeena minar rijaali wannisaaa'i walwildaani laa yastatee'oona heelatanw wa laa yahtadoona sabeela‎⁩	⁦‎Except the weak from among the men and the women and the children who have not the means, nor can they find a way (to escape);‎⁩
99	فَأُولَٰئِكَ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَعْفُوَ عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا	⁦‎Fa ulaaa'ika 'asal laahu ai ya'fuwa 'anhum; wa kaanal laahu 'Afuwwan Ghafooraa‎⁩	⁦‎So these, it may be that ALLAH will pardon them. And ALLAH is ever Pardoning, Forgiving.‎⁩
100	۞ وَمَنْ يُهَاجِرْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَجِدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُرَاغَمًا كَثِيرًا وَسَعَةً ۚ وَمَنْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكْهُ الْمَوْتُ فَقَدْ وَقَعَ أَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wa mai yuhaajir fee sabeelil laahi yajid fil ardi mmuraaghaman kaseeranw wa sa'ah; wa mai yakhruj mim baitihee muhaajiran ilal laahi wa Rasoolihee summa yudrikhul mawtu faqad waqa'a ajruhoo 'alal laah; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever flees in ALLAH's way, he will find in the earth many a place of escape and abundant resources. And whoever goes forth from his home fleeing to ALLAH and His Messenger, then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with ALLAH. And ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
101	وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَقْصُرُوا مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنَكُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ إِنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ كَانُوا لَكُمْ عَدُوًّا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Wa izaa darabtum fil ardi falaisa 'alaikum junaahun an taqsuroo minas Salaati in khiftum ai yaftinakumul lazeena kafarooo; innal kaafireena kaanoo lakum aduwwam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And when you journey in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve will give you trouble. Surely the disbelievers are an open enemy to you.‎⁩
102	وَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِيهِمْ فَأَقَمْتَ لَهُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَلْتَقُمْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ مَعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُوا أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ فَإِذَا سَجَدُوا فَلْيَكُونُوا مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ وَلْتَأْتِ طَائِفَةٌ أُخْرَىٰ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا فَلْيُصَلُّوا مَعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُوا حِذْرَهُمْ وَأَسْلِحَتَهُمْ ۗ وَدَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ تَغْفُلُونَ عَنْ أَسْلِحَتِكُمْ وَأَمْتِعَتِكُمْ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ مَيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنْ كَانَ بِكُمْ أَذًى مِنْ مَطَرٍ أَوْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَىٰ أَنْ تَضَعُوا أَسْلِحَتَكُمْ ۖ وَخُذُوا حِذْرَكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا	⁦‎Wa izaa kunta feehim fa aqamta lahumus Salaata faltaqum taaa'ifatum minhum ma'aka walyaakhuzooo aslihatahum fa izaa sajadoo fal yakoonoo minw waraaa'ikum waltaati taaa'ifatun ukhraa lam yusalloo falyusallo ma'aka walyaakhuzoo hizrahum wa aslihatahum; waddal lazeena kafaroo law taghfuloona 'anaslihatikum wa amti'atikum fa yameeloona 'alaikum mailatanw waahidah; wa laa junaaha 'alaikum in kaana bikum azam mimmatarin aw kuntum mmardaaa an tada'ooo aslihatakum wa khuzoo hizrakum; innal laaha a'adda lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And when thou art among them and leadest the prayer for them, let a party of them stand up with thee, and let them take their arms; Then when they have performed their prostration, let them go to your rear, and let another party who have not prayed come forward and pray with thee, and let them take their precautions and their arms. Those who disbelieve long that you may neglect your arms and your baggage, that they may attack you with a sudden united attack. And there is no blame on you, if you are inconvenienced on account of rain or if you are sick, to put away your arms; and take your precautions. Surely ALLAH has prepared abasing chastisement for the disbelievers.‎⁩
103	فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمْ ۚ فَإِذَا اطْمَأْنَنْتُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۚ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا	⁦‎Fa izaa qadaitumus Salaata fazkurul laaha qiyaamanw wa qu'oodanw wa 'alaa junoobikum; fa izat maanantum fa aqeemus Salaah; innas Salaata kaanat 'alal mu'mineena kitaabam mawqootaa‎⁩	⁦‎So when you have finished the prayer, remember ALLAH standing and sitting and reclining. But when you are secure, from danger, keep up (regular) prayer. Prayer indeed has been enjoined on the believers at fixed times.‎⁩
104	وَلَا تَهِنُوا فِي ابْتِغَاءِ الْقَوْمِ ۖ إِنْ تَكُونُوا تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمُونَ ۖ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرْجُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Wa laa tahinoo fibtighaaa'il qawmi in takoonoo taalamoona fa innahum yaalamoona kamaa taalamoona wa tarjoona minal laahi maa laa yarjoon; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And be not weak-hearted in pursuit of the enemy. If you suffer they (too) suffer as you suffer, and you hope from ALLAH what they hope not. And ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
105	إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِمَا أَرَاكَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَلَا تَكُنْ لِلْخَائِنِينَ خَصِيمًا	⁦‎Innaaa anzalnaaa ilaikal Kitaaba bilhaqqi litahkuma bainan naasi bimaaa araakal laah; wa laa takul lilkhaaa'ineena khaseemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Surely We have revealed the Book to thee with truth that thou mayest judge between people by means of what ALLAH has taught thee. And be not one pleading the cause of the dishonest,‎⁩
106	وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wastaghfiril laaha innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎And ask the forgiveness of ALLAH. Surely ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩

107	وَلَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَنْ كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا	⁦‎Wa laa tujaadil 'anil lazeena yakhtaanoona anfusahum; innal laaha laa yuhibbuman kaana khawwaanan aseemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And contend not on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls. Surely ALLAH loves not him who is treacherous, sinful:‎⁩
108	يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا	⁦‎Yastakhfoona minannaasi wa laa yastakh foona minal laahi wa huwa ma'ahum iz yubaiyitoona maa laa yardaa minal qawl; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ya'maloona muheetaa‎⁩	⁦‎They seek to hide from men and they cannot hide from ALLAH, and He is with them when they counsel by night matters which please Him not. And ALLAH ever encompasses what they do.‎⁩
109	هَا أَنْتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ جَادَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَنْ يُجَادِلُ اللَّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلًا	⁦‎haaa antum haaa'ulaaa'i jaadaltum 'anhum fil hayaatid dunyaa famai yujaadilul laaha 'anhum Yawmal Qiyaamati am mai yakoonu 'alaihim wakeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Behold! You are they who may contend on their behalf in this world's life, but who will contend with ALLAH on their behalf on the Resurrection day, or who will have charge of their affairs?‎⁩
110	وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا أَوْ يَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُ ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ يَجِدِ اللَّهَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wa mai ya'mal sooo'an aw yazlim nafsahoo summa yastaghfiril laaha yajidil laaha Ghafoorar Raheemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever does evil or wrongs his soul, then asks forgiveness of ALLAH, will find ALLAH Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
111	وَمَنْ يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَإِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Wa mai yaksib isman fa innamaa yaksibuhoo 'alaa nafsih; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever commits a sin, commits it only against himself. And ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
112	وَمَنْ يَكْسِبْ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهِ بَرِيئًا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Wa mai yaksib khateee'atan aw isman summa yarmi bihee bareee'an faqadih tamala buhtaananw wa ismam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.‎⁩
113	وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَهَمَّتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ۖ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَعْلَمُ ۚ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaika wa rahmatuhoo lahammat taaa'ifatum minhum ai yudillooka wa maa yudilloona illaaa anfusahum wa maa yadurroonaka min shai'; wa anzalal laahu 'alaikal Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa 'allamaka maa lam takun ta'lam; wa kaana fadlul laahi 'alaika 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And were it not for ALLAH's grace upon thee and His mercy, a party of them had certainly designed to ruin thee. And they ruin only themselves, and they cannot harm thee in any way. And ALLAH has revealed to thee the Book and the Wisdom, and taught thee what thou knewest not, and ALLAH's grace on thee is very great.‎⁩
114	۞ لَا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎laa khaira fee kaseerim min najwaahum illaa man amara bisadaqatin aw ma'roofin aw islaahim bainan naas; wa mai yaf'al zaalikab tighaaa'a mardaatil laahi fa sawfa nu'teehi ajran 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎There is no good in most of their secret counsels except (in) him who enjoins charity or goodness or reconciliation between people. And whoever does this, seeking ALLAH's pleasure, We shall give him a mighty reward.‎⁩
115	وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدَىٰ وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصْلِهِ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا	⁦‎Wa mai yushaaqiqir Rasoola mim ba'di maa tabaiyana lahul hudaa wa tattabi' ghaira sabeelil mu'mineena nuwallihee ma tawallaa wa nuslihee Jahannama wa saaa'at maseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever acts hostilely to the Messenger after guidance has become manifest to him and follows other than the way of the believers, We turn him to that to which he (himself) turns and make him enter hell and it is an evil resort.‎⁩
116	إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا	⁦‎Innal laaha laa yaghfiru ai yushraka bihee wayaghfiru maa doona zaalika limai yashaaa'; wa mai yushrik billaahi faqad dalla dalaalam ba'eedaa‎⁩	⁦‎Surely ALLAH forgives not setting up partners with Him, and He forgives all besides this to whom He pleases. And whoever sets up a partner with ALLAH, he indeed goes far astray.‎⁩

117	إِنْ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ إِلَّا إِنَاثًا وَإِنْ يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَانًا مَرِيدًا	⁦‎iny yad'oona min dooniheee illaaa inaasanw wa iny yad'oona illaa Shaitaanam mareedaa‎⁩	⁦‎Besides Him they call on nothing but female divinities and they call on nothing but a rebellious devil,‎⁩
118	لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ ۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًا مَفْرُوضًا	⁦‎La'anahul laah; wa qaala la attakhizanna min 'ibaadika naseebam mafroodaa‎⁩	⁦‎Whom ALLAH has cursed. And he said: Certainly I will take of Thy servants an appointed portion;‎⁩
119	وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Wa la udillannahum wa la umanni yannnahum wa la aamurannahum fala yubat tikunna aazaanal lan'aami wa la aamurannahum fala yughai yirunna khalqal laah; wa mai yattakhizish Shaitaana waliyyam mmin doonil laahi faqad khasira khusraanam mubeena‎⁩	⁦‎And certainly I will lead them astray and excite in them vain desires and bid them so that they will slit the ears of the cattle, and bid them so that they will alter ALLAH's creation. And whoever takes the devil for a friend, forsaking ALLAH, he indeed suffers a manifest loss.‎⁩
120	يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا	⁦‎Ya'iduhum wa yuman neehim wa maa ya'iduhumush Shaitaanu illaa ghurooraa‎⁩	⁦‎He promises them and excites vain desires in them. And the devil promises them only to deceive.‎⁩
121	أُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ عَنْهَا مَحِيصًا	⁦‎Ulaaa'ika maawaahum Jahannamu wa laa yajidoona 'anhaa maheesaa‎⁩	⁦‎These — their refuge is hell, and they will find no way of escape from it.‎⁩
122	وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًا	⁦‎Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati sanud khiluhum Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa; wa'dal laahi haqqaa; wa man asdaqu minal laahi qeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎And those who believe and do good, We shall make them enter Gardens in which rivers flow, to abide therein for ever. It is ALLAH's promise, in truth. And who is more truthful in word than ALLAH?‎⁩
123	لَيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَا أَمَانِيِّ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ ۗ مَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Laisa bi amaaniyyikum wa laaa amaaniyyi Ahlil Kitaab; mai ya'mal sooo'ai yujza bihee wa laa yajid lahoo min doonil laahi waliyanw wa laa naseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎It will not be in accordance with your vain desires nor the vain desires of the People of the Book. Whoever does evil, will be requited for it and will not find for himself besides ALLAH a friend or a helper.‎⁩
124	وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا	⁦‎Wa mai ya'mal minas saalihaati min zakarin aw unsaa wa huwa mu'minun fa ulaaa'ika yadkhuloonal Jannata wa laa yuzlamoona naqeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And whoever does good deeds, whether male or female, and he (or she) is a believer these will enter the Garden, and they will not be dealt with a whit unjustly.‎⁩
125	وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۗ وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا	⁦‎Wa man ahsanu deenam mimmman aslama wajhahoo lillaahi wa huwa muhsinunw wattaba'a Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wattakhazal laahu Ibraaheema khaleelaa‎⁩	⁦‎And who is better in religion than he who submits himself entirely to ALLAH while doing good (to others) and follows the faith of Abraham, the upright one? And ALLAH took Abraham for a friend.‎⁩
126	وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطًا	⁦‎Wa lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kaanal laahu bikulli shai'im muheetaa‎⁩	⁦‎And to ALLAH belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And ALLAH ever encompasses all things.‎⁩

127	وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَنْ تَنْكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَنْ تَقُومُوا لِلْيَتَامَىٰ بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa yastaftoonaka finnisaaa'i qulil laahu yufteekum feehinna wa maa yutlaa 'alaikum fil Kitaabi fee yataaman nisaaa'il laatee laa tu'toonahunna mmaa kutiba lahunnna wa targhaboona an tankihoohunna wal mustad'a feena minal wildaani wa an taqoomoo lilyataamaa bilqist; wa maa taf'aloo min khairin fa innal laaha kaana bihee 'Aleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And they ask thee a decision about women. Say ALLAH makes known to you His decision concerning them; and that which is recited to you in the Book is concerning widowed women, whom you give not what is appointed for them, while you are not inclined to marry them, nor to the weak among children, and that you should deal justly with orphans and whatever good you do, ALLAH is surely ever Knower of it.‎⁩
128	وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنْ يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا ۚ وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ ۗ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنْفُسُ الشُّحَّ ۚ وَإِنْ تُحْسِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا	⁦‎Wa inimra atun khaafat mim ba'lihaa nushoozan aw i'raadan falaa junaaha 'alaihi maaa ai yuslihaa bainahumaa sulhaa; wassulhu khair; wa uhdiratil anfusush shuhh; wa in tuhsinoo wa tattaqoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎And if a woman fears ill-usage from her husband or desertion no blame is on them if they effect a reconciliation between them. And reconciliation is better. And avarice is met with in (men's) minds. And if you do good (to others) and keep your duty, surely ALLAH is ever Aware of what you do.‎⁩
129	وَلَنْ تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ تَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ ۚ وَإِنْ تُصْلِحُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wa lan tastatee'ooo an ta'diloo bainan nisaaa'i wa law harastum falaa tameeloo kullal maili fatazaroohaa kalmu'al laqah; wa in tuslihoo wa tattaqoo fa innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎And you cannot do justice between wives, even though you wish (it), but be not disinclined (from one) with total disinclination, so that you leave her in suspense. And if you are reconciled and keep your duty, surely ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
130	وَإِنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ اللَّهُ كُلًّا مِنْ سَعَتِهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ وَاسِعًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Wa iny-yatafarraqaa yughnil laahu kullam min sa'atih; wa kaanal laahu Waasi'an Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And if they separate, ALLAH will render them both free from want out of His ampleness. And ALLAH is ever Ample-giving, Wise.‎⁩
131	وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَإِنْ تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًا	⁦‎Wa lillaahi maafis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa laqad wassainal lazeena ootul Kitaaba min qablikum wa iyyaakum anit taqul laah; wa intakfuroo fa inna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kaanal laahu Ghaniyyan hameedaa‎⁩	⁦‎And to ALLAH belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And certainly We enjoined those who were given the Book before you and (We enjoin) you too to keep your duty to ALLAH. And if you disbelieve, surely to ALLAH belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And ALLAH is ever Self-sufficient, Praiseworthy.‎⁩
132	وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا	⁦‎Wa lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎And to ALLAH belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And ALLAH suffices as having charge of affairs.‎⁩
133	إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرًا	⁦‎Iny-yashaa yuzhibkum aiyuhan naasu wa yaati bi aakhareen; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa zaalika Qadeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎If He please, He will take you away, O people, and bring others. And ALLAH is ever Powerful to do that.‎⁩
134	مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا	⁦‎man kaana yureedu sawaabad dunyaa fa'indallaahi sawaabud dunyaa wal Aakhirah; wa kaanal laahu Samee'am Baseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎Whoever desires the reward of this world — then with ALLAH is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. And ALLAH is ever Hearing Seeing.‎⁩
135	۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِنْ يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَنْ تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِنْ تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا	⁦‎Yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo koonoo qawwa ameena bilqisti shuhadaaa'a lillaahi wa law 'alaa anfusikum awil waalidaini wal aqrabeen iny yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran fallaahu awlaa bihimaa falaaa tattabi'ul hawaaa an ta'diloo; wa in talwooo aw tu'ridoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeera‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness for ALLAH, even though it be against your own selves or (your) parents or near relatives whether he be rich or poor, ALLAH has a better right over them both. So follow not (your) low desires, lest you deviate. And if you distort or turn away from (truth), surely ALLAH is ever Aware of what you do.‎⁩
136	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo aaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazee nazzala 'alaa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazeee anzala min qabl; wa mai yakfur billaahi wa Malaaa'ikatihee wa Kutubihee wa Rusulihee wal Yawmil Aakhiri faqad dalla dalaalam ba'eedaa‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, believe in ALLAH and His Messenger and the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger and the Book which He revealed before. And whoever disbelieves in ALLAH and His angels and His Books and His messengers and the Last Day, he indeed strays far away.‎⁩

137	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Innal lazeena aamanoo summa kafaroo summa aamanoo summa kafaroo summaz daado kufral lam yakunil laahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who believe then disbelieve, again believe and again disbelieve, then increase in disbelief, ALLAH will never forgive them nor guide them in the (right) way.‎⁩
138	بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا	⁦‎Bashshiril munaafiqeena bi anna lahum 'azaaban aleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Give news to the hypocrites that for them is a painful chastisement —‎⁩
139	الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِنْدَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا	⁦‎Allazeena yattakhizoo nal kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; a-yabta ghoona 'indahumul 'izzata fainnnal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who take disbelievers for friends rather than believers. Do they seek for might from them? Might surely belongs wholly to ALLAH.‎⁩
140	وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا	⁦‎Wa qad nazzala 'alaikum fil Kitaabi an izaa sami'tum Aayaatil laahi yukfaru bihaa wa yustahza u bihaa falaa taq'udoo ma'ahum hattaa yakhoodoo fee hadeesin ghairih; innakum izam misluhum; innal laaha jaami'ul munaafiqeena wal kaafireena fee jahannama jamee'aa‎⁩	⁦‎And indeed He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear ALLAH's messages disbelieved in and mocked at, sit not with them until they enter into some other discourse, for then indeed you would be like them. Surely ALLAH will gather together the hypocrites and the disbelievers all in hell —‎⁩
141	الَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمْ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ قَالُوا أَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نَصِيبٌ قَالُوا أَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنَمْنَعْكُمْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ فَاللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ وَلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Allazeena yatarab basoona bikum fa in kaana lakum fathum minal laahi qaalooo alam nakum ma'akum wa in kaana lilkaafireena naseebun qaalooo alam nastah wiz 'alaikum wa nammna'kum minal mu'mineen; fallaahu yahkumu bainakum Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa lai yaj'alal laahu lilkaafireena 'alal mu'mineena sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who wait (for misfortunes) for you. Then if you have a victory from ALLAH they say Were we not with you? And if there is a chance for the disbelievers, they say Did we not prevail over you and defend you from the believers? So ALLAH will judge between you on the day of Resurrection. And ALLAH will by no means give the disbelievers a way against the believers.‎⁩
142	إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَىٰ يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا	⁦‎Innal munaafiqeena yukhaadi'oonal laaha wa huwa khaadi'uhum wa izaa qaamooo ilas Salaati qaamoo kusaalaa yuraaa'oonan naasa wa laa yazkuroonal laaha illaa qaleelaa‎⁩	⁦‎The hypocrites seek to deceive ALLAH, and He will requite their deceit to them. And when they stand up for prayer, they stand up sluggishly — they do it only to be seen of men and remember ALLAH but little,‎⁩
143	مُذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ لَا إِلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ وَلَا إِلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Muzabzabeena baina zaalika laaa ilaa haaa' ulaaa'i wa laaa ilaa haaa'ulaaa'; wa mai yudlilil laahu falan tajida lahoo sabeela‎⁩	⁦‎Wavering between that (and this) (belonging) neither to these nor to those. And whomsoever ALLAH leaves in error, thou wilt not find a way for him.‎⁩
144	يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَجْعَلُوا لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tattakhizul kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; aturee doona an taj'aloo lillaahi 'alaikum sultaanam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎O you who believe, take not the disbelievers for friends rather than the believers. Do you desire to give ALLAH a manifest proof against yourselves?‎⁩
145	إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي الدَّرْكِ الْأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Innal munaafiqeena fiddarkil asfali minan Naari wa lan tajjida lahum naseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎The hypocrites are surely in the lowest depths of the Fire, and thou wilt find no helper for them,‎⁩
146	إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِاللَّهِ وَأَخْلَصُوا دِينَهُمْ لِلَّهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ يُؤْتِ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Illal lazeena taaboo wa aslahoo wa'tasamoo billaahi wa akhlasoo deenahum lillaahi faulaaa'ika ma'al mu'mineena wa sawfa yu'til laahul mu'mineena ajran 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Save those who repent and amend and hold fast to ALLAH and are sincere in their obedience to ALLAH — these are with the believers. And ALLAH will soon grant the believers a mighty reward.‎⁩

147	مَا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنْتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا	⁦‎maa yafa'lul laahu bi 'azaabikum in shakartum wa aamantum; wa kaanal laahu Shaakiran 'Aleema‎⁩	⁦‎Why should ALLAH chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And ALLAH is ever Multiplier of rewards, Knowing.‎⁩
148	۞ لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلَّا مَنْ ظُلِمَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا	⁦‎Laa yuhibbullaahul jahra bis sooo'i minal qawli illaa man zulim; wa kaanallaahu Samee'an 'Aleeman‎⁩	⁦‎ALLAH loves not the public utterance of hurtful speech, except by one who has been wronged. And ALLAH is ever Hearing, Knowing.‎⁩
149	إِنْ تُبْدُوا خَيْرًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ أَوْ تَعْفُوا عَنْ سُوءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا قَدِيرًا	⁦‎in tubdoo khairann aw tukhfoohu aw ta'foo 'an sooo'in fa innal laaha kaana 'afuwwan Qadeeraa‎⁩	⁦‎If you do good openly or keep it secret or pardon an evil, ALLAH surely is ever Pardoning, Powerful.‎⁩
150	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ اللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ نُؤْمِنُ بِبَعْضٍ وَنَكْفُرُ بِبَعْضٍ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذُوا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا	⁦‎Innal lazeena yakkfuroona billaahi wa Rusulihee wa yureedoona ai yufarriqoo bainal laahi wa Rusulihee wa yaqooloona nu'minu biba'dinw wa nakfuru biba' dinw wa yureedoona ai yattakhizoo baina zaalika sabeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who disbelieve in ALLAH and His messengers and desire to make a distinction between ALLAH and His messengers and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others; and desire to take a course in between —‎⁩
151	أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقًّا ۚ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا	⁦‎Ulaaa'ika humul kaafiroona haqqaa; wa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa‎⁩	⁦‎These are truly disbelievers and We have prepared for the disbelievers an abasing chastisement.‎⁩
152	وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ أُولَٰئِكَ سَوْفَ يُؤْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا	⁦‎Wallazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa lam yufarriqoo baina ahadim minhum ulaaa'ika sawfa yu'teehim ujoorahum; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema‎⁩	⁦‎And those who believe in ALLAH and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them, to them He will grant their rewards. And ALLAH is ever Forgiving, Merciful.‎⁩
153	يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَنْ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَابًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ۚ فَقَدْ سَأَلُوا مُوسَىٰ أَكْبَرَ مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَالُوا أَرِنَا اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ بِظُلْمِهِمْ ۚ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُوا الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَعَفَوْنَا عَنْ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎yas'aluka Ahlul Kitaabi an tunazzila 'alaihim Kitaabam minas samaaa'i faqad sa aloo Moosaa akbara min zaalika faqaaloo arinal laaha jahratan fa akhazat humus saa'iqatu bizulmihim; summat takhazul 'ijla mim ba'di maa jaa'at humul baiyinaatu fa'afawnaa 'ann zaalik; wa aatainaa Moosaa sultaanam mubeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎The People of the Book ask thee to bring down to them a Book from heaven; indeed they demanded of Moses a greater thing than that, for they said: Show us ALLAH manifestly. So destructive punishment overtook them on account of their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf (for a god), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned this. And We gave Moses clear authority.‎⁩
154	وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لَا تَعْدُوا فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُمْ مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا	⁦‎Wa rafa'naa fawqahumut Toora bimeesaaqihim wa qulnaa lahumud khulul baaba sujjadanw wa qulnaa lahum laa ta'doo fis Sabti wa akhaznaa minhum meesaaqan ghaleezaa‎⁩	⁦‎And We raised the mountain above them at their covenant. And We said to them: Enter the door making obeisance. And We said to them: Violate not the Sabbath; and We took from them a firm covenant.‎⁩
155	فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِمْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۚ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا	⁦‎Fabimaa naqdihim meesaaqahum wa kufrihim bi Aayaatil laahi wa qatlihimul Ambiyaaa'a bighairi haqqinw wa qawlihim quloobunna ghulf; bal taba'al laahu 'alaihaa bikufrihim falaa yu'minoona illaa qaleelaa‎⁩	⁦‎Then for their breaking their covenant and their disbelief in the messages of ALLAH and their killing the prophets wrongfully and their saying, Our hearts are covered; nay, ALLAH has sealed them owing to their disbelief, so they believe not but a little:‎⁩
156	وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Wa bikufrihim wa qawlihim 'alaa Maryama buh taanan 'azeema‎⁩	⁦‎And for their disbelief and for their uttering against Mary a grievous calumny:‎⁩

157	وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَٰكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ ۚ مَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا	⁦‎Wa qawlihim innaa qatal nal maseeha 'Eesab-na-Maryama Rasoolal laahi wa maa qataloohu wa maa salaboohu wa laakin shubbiha lahum; wa innal lazeenakh talafoo fee lafee shakkim minh; maa lahum bihee min 'ilmin illat tibaa'az zann; wa maa qataloohu yaqeenaa‎⁩	⁦‎And for their saying: We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of ALLAH, and they killed him not, nor did they cause his death on the cross, but he was made to appear to them as such. And certainly those who differ therein are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge about it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for certain:‎⁩
158	بَلْ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Bar rafa'ahul laahu ilayh; wa kaanal laahu 'Azeezan Hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎Nay, ALLAH exalted him in His presence. And ALLAH is ever Mighty, Wise.‎⁩
159	وَإِنْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Wa im min Ahlil Kitaabi illaa layu'minanna bihee qabla mawtihee wa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakoonu 'alaihim shaheedaa‎⁩	⁦‎And there is none of the People of the Book but will believe in this before his death; and on the day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them.‎⁩
160	فَبِظُلْمٍ مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَاتٍ أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا	⁦‎Fabizulmin minal lazeena haadoo harramnaa 'alaihim taiyibaatin uhillat lahum wa bisadihim 'an sabeelil laahi kaseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎So for the iniquity of the Jews, We forbade them the good things which had been made lawful for them, and for their hindering many (people) from ALLAH's way.‎⁩
161	وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ ۚ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa akhzihimur ribaa wa qad nuhoo 'anhu wa aklihim amwaalan naasi bilbaatil; wa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena minhum 'azaaban aleema‎⁩	⁦‎And for their taking usury though indeed they were forbidden it and their devouring the property of people falsely. And We have prepared for the disbelievers from among them a painful chastisement.‎⁩
162	لَٰكِنِ الرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَالْمُقِيمِينَ الصَّلَاةَ ۚ وَالْمُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أُولَٰئِكَ سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا	⁦‎Laakinir raasikhoona fil'ilmi minhum walmu'minoona yu'minoona bimaaa unzila ilaika wa maaa unzila min qablika walmuqeemeenas Salaata walmu'toonaz Zakaata walmu 'minoona billaahi wal yawmil Aakhir; ulaaa'ika sanu'teehim ajran 'azeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎But the firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in that which has been revealed to thee and that which was revealed before thee, and those who keep up prayer and give the poor-rate and the believers in ALLAH and the Last Day — these it is to whom We shall give a mighty reward.‎⁩
163	۞ إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا	⁦‎innaaa awhainaaa ilaika kamaaa awhainaaa ilaa Noohinw wan nabiyyeena mim ba'dih; wa awhainaaa ilaaa ibraaheema wa Ismaaa'eela wa Ishaaqa wa Ya'qooba wal Asbaati wa 'Eesaa wa Ayyooba wa Yoonusa wa haaroona wa Sulaimaan; wa aatainaa Daawooda Zabooraa‎⁩	⁦‎Surely We have revealed to thee as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and We gave to David a scripture.‎⁩
164	وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۚ وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا	⁦‎Wa Rusulan qad qasas naahum 'alaika min qablu wa Rusulal lam naqsushum 'alaik; wa kallamallaahu Moosaa takleemaa‎⁩	⁦‎And (We sent) messengers We have mentioned to thee before and messengers We have not mentioned to thee. And to Moses ALLAH addressed His word, speaking (to him)—‎⁩
165	رُسُلًا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنْذِرِينَ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللَّهِ حُجَّةٌ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Rusulam mubashshireena wa munzireena li'allaa yakoona linnaasi 'alal laahi hujjatum ba'dar Rusul; wa kaanallaahu 'Azeezan Hakeema‎⁩	⁦‎Messengers, bearers of good news and warners, so that the people may have no plea against ALLAH after the (coming of) messengers. And ALLAH is ever Mighty, Wise.‎⁩
166	لَٰكِنِ اللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ أَنْزَلَهُ بِعِلْمِهِ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا	⁦‎Laakinil laahu yashhadu bimaaa anzala ilaika anzalahoo bi'ilmihee wal malaaa'ikatu yashhadoon; wa kafaa billaahi Shaheeda‎⁩	⁦‎But ALLAH bears witness by that which He has revealed to thee that He has revealed it with His knowledge, and the angels (also) bear witness. And ALLAH is sufficient as a witness.‎⁩

167	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا	⁦‎Innal lazeena kafaroo wa saddoo 'an sabeelil laahi qad dalloo dalaalam ba'eedaa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who disbelieve and hinder (others) from ALLAH's way, they indeed have erred, going far astray.‎⁩
168	إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَظَلَمُوا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ طَرِيقًا	⁦‎Innal lazeenakafaroo wa zalamoo lam yakkunillaahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum tareeqaa‎⁩	⁦‎Those who disbelieve and act unjustly, ALLAH will never forgive them, nor guide them to a path,‎⁩
169	إِلَّا طَرِيقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا	⁦‎Illaa tareeqa jahannamma khaalideena feehaa abadaa; wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎Except the path of hell, to abide in it for a long time. And that is easy to ALLAH.‎⁩
170	يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الرَّسُولُ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَآمِنُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا	⁦‎Yaaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akumur Rasoolu bilhaqqi mir Rabbikum fa ammminoo khairal lakum; wa in takfuroo fainnna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ard; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleemann hakeemaa‎⁩	⁦‎O mankind, the Messenger has indeed come to you with truth from your LORD, so believe, it is better for you. And if you disbelieve, then surely to ALLAH belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And ALLAH is ever Knowing, Wise.‎⁩
171	يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا	⁦‎Yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi laa taghloo fee deenikum wa laa taqooloo 'alal laahi illalhaqq; innamal Maseehu 'Eesab-nu-Maryamma Rasoolul laahi wa Kalimatuhooo alqaahaaa ilaa Maryamma wa roohum minhu fa aaminoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa laa taqooloo salaasah; intahoo khairallakum; innamal laahu Ilaahunw Waahid, Subhaanahooo ani yakoona lahoo walad; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa‎⁩	⁦‎O People of the Book, exceed not the limits in your religion nor speak anything about ALLAH, but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, is only a messenger of ALLAH and His word which He communicated to Mary and a mercy from Him. So believe in ALLAH and His messengers. And say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you. ALLAH is only one GOD. Far be it from His glory to have a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is ALLAH as having charge of affairs.‎⁩
172	لَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفَ الْمَسِيحُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ وَلَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفْ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيَسْتَكْبِرْ فَسَيَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ جَمِيعًا	⁦‎Lanny yastankifal Maseehu ai yakoona 'abdal lillaahi wa lal malaaa'ikatul muqarraboon; wa mai yastankif 'an ibaadatihee wa yastakbir fasa yahshuruhum ilaihi jamee'aa‎⁩	⁦‎The Messiah disdains not to be a servant of ALLAH, nor do the angels who are near to Him. And whoever disdains His service and is proud, He will gather them all together to Himself.‎⁩
173	فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۖ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْتَنْكَفُوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا	⁦‎Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fa yuwaffeehim ujoorahum wa yazeeduhum min fadlihee wa ammal lazeenas tankafoo wastakbaroo fa yu'azzibuhum 'azaaban aleemanw wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa‎⁩	⁦‎Then as for those who believe and do good, He will pay them fully their rewards and give them more out of His grace. And as for those who disdain and are proud, He will chastise them with a painful chastisement; and they will find for themselves besides ALLAH no friend nor helper.‎⁩
174	يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بُرْهَانٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُبِينًا	⁦‎yaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akum burhaanum mir Rabbikum wa anzalnaaa ilaikum Nooram Mubeena‎⁩	⁦‎O people, manifest proof has indeed come to you from your LORD and We have sent down to you a clear light.‎⁩
175	فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِهِ فَسَيُدْخِلُهُمْ فِي رَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَيْهِ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا	⁦‎Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa'tasamoo bihee fasa yudkhiluhum fee rah matim minhu wa fadlinw wa yahdeehim ilaihi Siraatam Mustaqeema‎⁩	⁦‎Then as for those who believe in ALLAH and hold fast by Him, He will admit them to His mercy and grace, and guide them to Himself on a right path.‎⁩
176	يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلَالَةِ ۚ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ ۚ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَا إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا وَلَدٌ ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ ۚ وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَةً رِجَالًا وَنِسَاءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۗ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ	⁦‎Yastaftoonaka qulillaahu yufteekum fil kalaalah; inimru'un halaka laisa lahoo waladunw wa lahoo ukhtun falahaa nisfu maa tarak; wa huwa yarisuhaaa il lam yakkul lahaa walad; fa in kaanatas nataini falahumas sulusaani mimmmaa tarak; wa in kaanooo ikhwatar rijaalanw wa nisaaa'an faliz zakari mislu hazzil unsayayn; yubaiyinullaahu lakum an tadilloo; wallaahu bikulli shai'in Aleem‎⁩	⁦‎They ask thee for a decision. Say: ALLAH gives you a decision concerning the person who has neither parents nor children. If a man dies (and) he has no son and he has a sister, hers is half of what he leaves, and he shall be her heir if she has no son. But if there be two (sisters), they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves. And if there are brethren, men and women, then for the male is the like of the portion of two females. ALLAH makes clear to you, lest you err. And ALLAH is Knower of all things.‎⁩
