Abijah/Abiha

Gender Masculine & Feminine

Scripts אֲבִיָה (Ancient Hebrew)

Means “my father is YHWH” in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this is the name of several characters, both male and female, including the second king of Judah (also known as Abijam).

Abijah (2Chronicles 29, 1) also known as Abi (2Kings 18, 1-2) is a biblical character, mother of Hezekiah and wife of Ahaz, both kings of Judah.

She was the daughter of a Zechariah, of whom we have no historical references, perhaps it was Zechariah, son of Hezebiah (Isaiah 8, 2).
