The Quran (Arabic: القرآن al-qur’ān, literally meaning “the Recitation”; also romanized Qurʾan or Koran) is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from GOD…

Being a believer commits our whole life: humility before GOD, sincerity with ourselves and truthfulness toward others. From this foundation begins the path of discipline, obedience and rigor, through which faith becomes transformation and the call to justice becomes a responsibility to uphold every day.
Al-Aʿrāf, “The Heights,” is the seventh surah of the Quran. Through the account of Adam and Iblīs, the missions of Noah, Hūd, Ṣāliḥ, Lot, Shuʿayb, and Moses, and the eschatological scene of the Heights, the surah calls humanity to faithfulness toward GOD, moral responsibility, and attentiveness to revelation.

Beyond the most complex doctrines and interpretations that have accumulated over the centuries, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all uphold one essential principle: every human being is personally accountable to GOD and can choose each day to better themselves.
From Jacob’s Ladder to the Christian paths of holiness, to the purification of the soul in the Islamic tradition, the image that emerges is that of a gradual journey toward GOD, open equally to women and men. Doing good, correcting one’s ways, persevering, and continuing to ascend: for what we sow today prepares what we will reap tomorrow.

The Sabbath is a gift from GOD: a day to cease from work, thank the Creator, remain with family, speak of love, goodness and peace, and contemplate His Word. When human interpretations become more burdensome than the commandment itself, we must return to the essential question: what did GOD actually command?
Happiness does not belong only to the wealthy, the powerful, or the fortunate. It can become a lasting condition when life finds its center in GOD, love, truth, knowledge, and balance. Faith in resurrection also frees the human being from the fear that death may have the final word.

The story of Moses raises a difficult question: can a single grave mistake define a person forever? Through the Torah, Talmud, Gospel, and Quran, this study examines divine mercy, personal responsibility, and the hope of spiritual transformation.

The Encyclical Magnifica Humanitas addresses some of the defining challenges of our age: artificial intelligence, human dignity, social justice, work, dialogue, and peace. In this series, Abrahamic Study Hall presents the full text together with an interfaith and spiritual commentary aimed at fostering understanding, responsibility, and reconciliation among peoples.
“The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split. Yet whenever they see a sign, they turn away and say: ‘Enduring magic.’ They denied and followed their desires, though every matter is set to its appointed end. And there has already come to them of narratives that contain restraint—profound wisdom—yet warnings do not avail. So turn away from them. The Day the Caller will summon to something dreadful, their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves like scattered locusts, hastening toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say: ‘This is a difficult Day.’” (54:1–8)
Surah 29, The Spider, calls believers to reflect on the fragility of life and the strength of faith in GOD. A chapter that speaks of perseverance, dialogue, and the shared roots of Muslims, Jews, and Christians.
